For Irish Ceilidh dancing I like to go to the Starry Plough in Berkeley on Monday nights. They have classes from 7PM until 9PM followed by open dancing. The Starry Plough is on Shattuck at Prince.

ncls sister site I took classes from Lisa King. Her classes often seem less structured or organized than others. A lot of that is because she seems to try to tailor each session to the needs and wants of the students there that night. She also seems more interested in teaching "dance" rather than "moves".
